so thanks to the awesome job the DOT dose of cleaning up the hightway after an acident i had a piece of remains from a crash hit my windshield and crack in in the passenger top corner about 7 inches long.dose anybody now how much a windshield is or a cheap website i can get one from?

You could try Cleavland Pick a part or a local larger salvage yard that's hooked up to a parts locator.
Some busted out my passenger door window and I found it throught Triple Nickle auto parts down here near me for $140....new it runs over $400

I know when my windshield cracked on my last car, I called Diamond Auto Glass. Came to my house and replaced my windshield. Car was good as new three days after my old windshield cracked.

Call your insurance company first. With full coverage here in Florida you can get it replaced free one time good deal. Other states may have the same provision. With NYC politics they'll probably pay your lost wages too if they can't get out to your address in time to replace it before you can drive to work. LOL

thank you all .just called my insurance company they are sending someone to replace the whole window for free.i called my local chevy dealer they said it was $629.thank goodness for that little gecko
