I have a cracked windshield and i wanted to replace it and was wondering if any other make/models will fit the gto..its an 04 if that matters?

try salvage yards and also check with your insurance co. lots of times it low or even 0 deductible for windsheild replacement

I do know 04 had two different passenger side door windows depending on vin break......why? who knows

yeah I know, just letting you know, you might want to have your vin # and manufacturer date ready for when you start calling around.....I dont know if the windsheilds are the same or not from year to year or even through the whole same year

They are the same from 04-06. A rock chipped my windshield, and I went to my local glass shop....got quoted $210 for the glass + install, but that didnt include the top weather strip(?) Not too sure what that means, the guy said he didnt know if the car needed it or if it was integrated, and I was picking up my mom's van so I didnt have the Goat with me. All in all, I think $210 is a damn good price for the glass and labor. Plus theres nothing like looking through brand new glass, or the way wipers streak across the first few days....

yea thats not a bad price considering mine is not just a chip...Its CRACKED pretty bad...thanks now i know what king of price they should be charging.
