Holy Shiznit, this is my first thread that's gone more that one page since I've been here... Feel kinda, I don't know... (tear)

Anyway, I gave my paint guy my extra digital camera for him to take pics in progression as he works on the front end while I'm out of town. I'll do a "how to" before, during, and after since I've not seen one of these on the site thus far. My goal is a thread included with all of Sarge's cool how to shit. Shout out to Sarge...

Ouch! My wife got the Camaro stuck on a parking curb a few weeks ago. It got wedged between the front tires.. I believe my exact words were, "if you bing it home with no front end the BUS is your new ride..." She came home without a scratch..

Well I would'nt really make her ride the bus, it was more comical than anything else.. She did bring her home on a AAA flat bed once. But that was'nt her fault. The fuel pump took a shit on her in down town Pittsburg in heavy rush hour traffic.. It was'nt stuck on the parking block that bad tho. Just slightly wedged between the tires and she was half afraid to give it enough gas to get unstuck.. I kept her on the phone while she got it free. Little more gas and she backed right up. Just scraped the air dam a little no biggy..

Sometimes it's cool to give them a little rope to hang themselves with. Otherwise they think they are the superior sex. When you prove them wrong and make them feel bad about it because you warned them you get a lot more without looking like the bad guy. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'...

    Cool

Just ordered the front end conversion kit from JHP.com. Awesome company. Got a phone call confirmation in less than half an hour, from Australia, letting me know my order was in stock and was shipping the next day. If you want to do a Monaro conversion, I highly recommend JHP. Their customer service thus far has been outstanding. The Goat will be going into the body shop Monday, I will keep you all posted on the progress and I will be doing pics as we go.

Port Authority Transit is a damn fine bus service. Broward County Transit, not so much.

I ordered a Harrop differential mount from them and it was in South Florida in 4 days. $425ish and no U.S. sales tax.

Thank goodness my wife does'nt work anywhere near down town anymore.. She's runnin' into Greensburg Cath Labs now.. West Penn is going under and will be closing it's doors soon for the most part.. Many of the people she worked with will soon be jobless.. She told them to shove their casual status about 2 months ago.. They lied to their employees for quite some time about the goings on there.. Post Gazette dropped the proverbial bomb about a month ago.. Went from being a leader in the Cardiac Cathiderization(sp) field to bottom of the barrel in the last 2 years.. UPMC is the cause along with piss poor management and poor financial infrastructure.. Forbes regional, and AGH are going to be the only survivers looks like.. Wife could'nt be happier being out of the WPAHS.

But anywho to the OP good luck man. Good to hear you got things comming together.. Don't forget to post pics of your progress..

And I've never received this level of customer service from any American company. We could learn a thing or two from the Aussies.

UPS tracking says that my parts will be here on Monday. Since I work 2 1/2 hours away from my body shop, my buddy Marshall, owner of Brown's Body Shop in Goldthwaite, TX will take some pics of his progress from unpack to paint to install. I just wish I could be there. I am going to start a new thread once the Holden front end arrives to cover the conversion. I know it seems really simple, but some of the folks on here might want to see it step-by-step just to be reassured. Looks like the whole thing is gonna cost about $1800. Basically, $1500 for the conversion with shipping and all. Then an extra $300 for finishing, since that red paint is so damn expensive. Oh, and I will have all of my SAP front end stuff up for sale, including the SAP grills. I don't wanna get spanked by the Mods, so I'll post this stuff up for sale when I get enough posts to qualify. I should be pretty close. Hope everybody has a good weekend.
