where to put my new antenna

the original antenna wire in the goat is no good anymore....checked it and its as good as none at all.
so need opinions, thinking drivers side quarter, but want some other ideas.

it would be a short rubber whip antenna

Center mount just ahead of the rear window gets my vote then.

Right at the back edge of the roof?
    That would look good too.

before you change the antenna there is an antenna module on the L/S qt panel trim ck to see if you are getting power to it cause it gets it power from the radio and they short out if you are not getting power to it you can run a switch b+ to it i had the same problem

Rear window defogger radio antenna module connector pin A is a YE/RD wire that supply B+ to that module inside the radio so you can run a fuse wire from ur cigar lighter power source and that will power up the module again and radio will work find
