took me about an hour, relocated behind the driver kick panel, youll have to move your A4 contollers up in the dash, not biggy though.

yeah when I put the shift light in I saw that there is a butt load of opened space below/ behind the gauges that I can mount one or the other computer.
I've also been looking at a very small laptop at ToysRus that could be mounted and hard wired over the glovebox, or even the panel in the top of the center console for on demand tuning and have a full time display for everything going on

from the pics on ls1gto the computers and plugs look different from mine......must be pics of 05-06 computers? the computer looks smaller too.

I might just try and stick the main computer up under the gauges

there is 3 computers that will need to be moved in our cars, there is 2 that are on a plate together that is behind the kick panel. and then the main computer thats under the hood next to the driver manifold. thats the one that will need to be cut down.

last january i was stuck on the interestate for 22.5 hours trying to get home from shawnee, ill to indianapolis, in. I was driving a halfton ford (2wd) pulling a trailor with about 2 inchs of ice on the road, a 5 hour drive took me a whole day.

The single most nerve racking day of my entire life.

28 hours strait to get back and I'm not going to lie, my back, stomach, arms and sides hurt from being so tensefor so long.....even if I wanted to pull off I couldn't because there was 2 foot of snow everywhere.
I even counted 9 plows in the ditch and honestly hundreds of wrecks

Totally agreed, the next two days i could barley grip my phone to hold it. it was bad. talk about white knuckle driving, i couldnt pull off either,. Hundred of wrecks for sure, and i even seen a ambulanace on its top side, and a couple cops actually died a few cars in front of me. im telling you, they need to shut the damn world down on days like that,

I got on the interstate that morning and my trailor pushed me sideways all the way down the on ramp, i knew right then, it was get off the next exit or push on home, so i choose to push, after many hours in a single spot, more tehn once, alot of 15 mph driving, and a shit ton of wrecks, after about a 2 hour nap in the same spot for 4 hours, and getting stuck 30, miles from home for about 4 hours i finally made it home, at 6 am the next morning. it was terrible.

next time there is an ice storm, im staying the fuck in, I actually grew up in PA so i know all about the winter of 93 and 96, and a few from early where there was 11 ft to 20' snow drifts, oh yeah, great times, sledding of the roof of the house. lol Edit, i grew up about an hour and a half north east of you, mechanicsburg/carlisle/camphill area
