trying to help a friend

Hey guys iam trying to help a friend out but i don't want to give him a wrong answer and he lose his money. So here it is he is racing a 2006 gto 6 speed with no mods (so i hear haven't looked at it yet), and he has a 04 gto auto with a diablo tune but a custom one not the one that comes with the tuner, and a k n cold air. Does he have a chance or should i tell him to not race.

I Also Think That It Would Be A Driver's Race. The Mods Should Help Your Friend A Little, And Looking Back On The Numbers On Stock Units The 6sp And 4a Were Not That Far Off In 0-60 And 1/4 Mile Time. I Think It Would Be Worth A Shot. I Don't Believe The Upfront Additional 50 Horses Should Hurt Your Friend To Bad!!!!
