    traction control

    there is a plug under the cruise control box on a 04 a4 goat unplug it because it cuts the trac control off. trac is controlled by the cruise mech.cruise will still work and pcm will see no diff.. burn out city!

    yup that what I did too.....plus if she wants to drive it I can just plug it back in

    I just use Chimp Daddy....TC off by default and I can turn it on if needed...

    You can always blow out a hub bearing causing the ABS to turn off and that automatically turns the TC off(personal experience)

    FZguy 28, are you saying that if you disconnect the wire it can take out the hub bearing because they are interactive with each other? Sorry about your experience you had. Thanks in advance and MC, Jack

    No, when I put my bigger rim/tires on the car the abs light came on. Its either the sensor thats tweaked or the actual hub bearing. I went to Pontiac to see what it was and thats what they said.

    I think if you pull that plug, it also turns off the CAGS thing. Which also turns off the reverse lockout. Could be wrong though. For some reason, it's coming to mind that all that is controlled by the same thing.
