    06 PBM GTO(458WHP)SOLD!!
    06 TR GTO~476WHP 425TRQ

Tested some Shock Spacers from Madman and Co. Raci

Madman made my car the test mule for GTOs for his shop. If you dont know some of his work hes done the suspension on the EPP CTS-V, the worlds fastest TBSS and quite a number of very fast record breaking 1/4 miles vehicles. Feel free to visit his site. Well hes starting piece by piece on the mini-tub on my car and eventually wants to make a complete bolt in Solid Rear and also wants to make kits for 9in IRS swaps. But for the time being hes going to be working on my mini-tub(All sheetmetal etc etc, done clean!) So for the first piece he decided to make some shock spacers for the car to give me a little more inside clearance. Next to hit now would be the A-Arms.(Which hes not sure if hes going to notch for now, make his own custom set, or what. We havent gotten that far yet.

Ive been testing the spacers out for about a month now and they serve there purpose very well! To me they actually seem to make the shock a little stiffer...not much but enough to notice(Im guessing because the shock is more vertical) There made of solid steel. If anyones interested give Madman and Co and call and hell gladly set you up with a set. not sure on teh price because he hasnt told me yet but give him a call and hell tell you all you need to know. Here are some pics from under my car. Keep in mind that i have 18x8.5s Ruffs on 255/40 Eagle GTs

Keep us posted on the mini tub. The shock spacers are interesting.

Man...From where I'm sitting, that looks more than a bit unstable and a very big potential weaklink if you hit a pothole or something.

I'd be terrified to run it. But if you got the brass ones, have at it, hombre

Its made from steel, i can assure you it wont break. Its stronger than the strut mount itself. And its still tucked in like it was from stock. Youll hit the A-Arm before the shock tower. Its a whole lot better than most people running "washers" to space them out.

The bolts are 10.9 which is the metric equivalent of grade 8. Ill will break the shock before i brake the bolt.
