If the pulse with etc are changed correctly they shouldn't be squirting more than the stockers under normal conditions. Just WOT would be the biggest difference. Sure if you changed the injectors and didn't tune accordingly the computer thinks their stock and gives the same pulse to a much bigger injector. Tuned though I can believe it.
You are correct. I kept the same MPG when I supercharged my Z18, and upgraded to 44lb injectors(I think thats what they were) except under WOT. Found that out the hard way when going out of town and playing with a cobra on the freeway for an hour.
