A converter with anti balloon plates just has a plates welded on the front and rear of the converter case. Some cheap models just plate the front. They aid in life when blowing alot of nitrous. We usually don't worry about them unless we are blowing 200 or more.
Nitrous is hell on the converter's if the car dead hooks!!Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
