Is there any way to check if the springs will fit..Cause they are giving me a good price but they dont have a part # from comp cams...So anything before i buy them or i buy them and just try em..

who reccomened them and what cam are they for?

I'd call any Pedders dealer and get the Pedders springs specs.....they have 'em....

here are some specs he gave me..
HR 284 220/224 .570/.580..

I was,did you call the cam manufactor,then again theres not a big selestion of springs for our cars ls1ls2 pretty damn close just set them up for diffrent opening heights. Oh I just read the cam and spring reply id do it ,looks pretty good to me ,do you know you can do the springs on the car without taking the heads off.

i didnt know you can do that..but as soon as i get the cam..ill see if you cann help me out doing some of that..but i got to wait for the cam..so how do you think that cam would perform,..im not going to change the heads for a while!!

i didnt know you can do that..but as soon as i get the cam..ill see if you cann help me out doing some of that..but i got to wait for the cam..so how do you think that cam would perform,..im not going to change the heads for a while!!

that looks to be a good cam should put you close to the sweet spot ,our cars are heavy they need lots of low end TQ to get em going,I see people go over board on cams all the time just cause its big dont mean its better,sounds good loping but thats not what makes the numbers work,takes all the right combos to work,hell im still running the stock ls2 cam think its around 555 lift centerline is 117.5 lol,this motors respond very well to mods, love em. cam and spring swaps are really easy on these cars,only thing I would reccommend is a new chain,and cam bolts,make sure you lock tight them in, depends on miles,and some good push rods,im sure you can find a install someplace on net,pm me when your ready if you want.
