Some of you guys are hard core!

I've been reading all the threads about mods. I just got a 2006 M6 GTO with about 12000 miles. I do not want to hurt this car, but I wouldn't mind alittle more horse power. What is (are) the safest mods for this Goat? Thanks guys and yes, I'm a newb.

    Question tune???

    Hi,

Hope this isn't too stupid of a question. But what is a "tune" I got a superchips programmer and plugged it in and tunned mine. Is that what you are referring too?

    Thanks

Sorry about that Super Charged. I should have responded earlier. I've been checking into your advice even though from what I've read your right, those engine mods will be the best for me right now, but about a week ago me and a couple of guys after work took our cars for alittle "DRIVE" down this country road there was no dought the GTO was the fastest UNTIL we hit the curves, they killed me! (freaking ricers) So I'm kinda thinking about holding off on any engine mods and start with suspension mods first. What do you think? And where to start?

I like the whole driving experience, this is also partly why I have an M6, but here are some handling mods I'd do 1st, if you like winding roads and such, not just going fast in a straight line. Sub frame connectors, harrop differential cover, sway bar, that'll get you started and there are some other thing I'd do too..My......02 worth..... but, what do I know......LOL

Thanks SuperCharged! Here in Western North Carolina we have more curves than straight roads. I'm very pleased with the power I think I will work on the handling first!
