    Single turbo exhaust???

I'm running a front mount single set-up current through stock exhaust and she is just to damn quiet(except for that lovely FPPSSHH sound)If there is anyone else out there boosted with a front single what aftermarket cat back or resonator replacement are you using and how does it sound?

not seen it with an ls motor, but have seen several people not run any muffler at all with a turbo.....if that doesn't work for you, maybe try a bullet muffler

Straight pipe? I have heard the turbo will keep the exhaust note to a minimum but will sound nice.

That GTO show wreck is STILL on YouTube? WOW!!!

On the GTO forums folks posted about a mod called "WASHER MOD" where they would put washers between the exhaust flanges on 05-06 GTOs. Basically it's a way to cause an exhaust leak without completely disconnecting the exhaust/muffler locations. Some folks got flamed hard on that site for that mod. Oh well.

I run all stock but without the mufflers and it sounds good, a little poping when cold, but I thought the drone would kill me but not so. Very loud when you hammer it, but to my surprise let my son do a couple of passess out in the country and I was happy with the sound.

A guy I meet up with at the car shows has the same setup on his IBM 05. Sounds nasty and I like it.

When my friend starts his at car shows, everyone stares like because the car looks stock, but if they look underneath there are no muffs. Just pipes and tips.

Disconnected the exhaust system at the front of the muffler under the car. With both headers going into a single turbo it sounds horrific no real pulse reminds me of an old 70's truck with bad glasspacks. So that rules out full muffler deletes. I am curious however if it will smooth out by piping it to the rear.

you can use an xpipe and run it out from there I bet if you do and run it out the rear tips, assuming its like a stock exit at rear(exhaust) through bumper ,pm me I might be able to help.

Muffler deletes run out the back bumper like stock. Rasp and a nice throaty tone out the back under throttle.
