Ok..Around where i live there is not much mechanics who "specialize" on ls engines.. So im wondering ..Should I trust any mechanic that knows about transmission to change my stall?? or look for someone who speacializes on ls trans..
Also after i install...Do i need to tune RIGHT AWAY??...Its a slp 2400 stall..

HP Tuners can reflash for your stall. Shouldnt be a big deal.

if your guy has experience with trannies he shouldn't have an issue with swapping the convertor out. That's a pretty small stall so you may be able to get by for a bit without reflashing but I would plan on it. Just wait until you get it back and see how the car does. Your shift points my need to be adjusted if you're banging the limiter. Shouldn't really have lock up issues but you might. Just plan on it but drive it first to make sure.
