    I would say your giving up way more then 5hp with shorties,question is was that a number with stock motor?got to ask that ,rule to go by more mods better flowing exhaust you ill need theres not a short tube header on the planet that will flow with the LT they are made that way for a reason,if draging them is an issue on a lowered car id look into some other brand of headers,there are alot of them out there for the f bodys.
    mods: custom built twins, built 408 w/l92 stock GM heads,GM matching intake,drag bags,frame ties,aluminum drive shaft, performabuilt 4l80e,Yank converter,ohios fastest and quickest 04-06 GTO 9.52 at 144mph. 1.50 60ft on stock rear end and shafts/suspension,on drag radials.

    I'm dropped 1 inch in the front and the only problem I have is on steep aprons...but the fascia will hit long before it ever gets to to my Kooks.

    Here's a fair comparison that Maryland Speed posted. I does look like about 6 rwhp more for Kooks on the first graph. ...but look at the rwtq comparisions ... 16 and 29 more for Kooks.
