I have a B&M sport shifter, It's way better than the stock one, the throw on the stock is waaaaaay too long. I like it.

I'm running the GMM Ripshifter and love it. Much more positive feel that the stock, rubbery shifter. Some guys have had problems with the B&M, but maybe they've worked the bugs out by now.

I have the Billet products Pro short throw shifter from australia,it works amazing and is way tighter than the joke that the B&M is and even tighter than the GMM

Remember how the GTO once came with a stock Hurst shifter!!?? There is a Hurst shifter for the 04-06 GTO's. I would go with the tride and true performance shifter, HURST!!!!! It goes for a little over $250. I have the part # and a website where you can get it:

    Part#: 391-5065 (3915065)

    website: www.ajusa.com

I plan on buying this with my next paycheck.

I've driven both the GMM(which I have) and the B&M, along with a homemade SLP. I couldn't stand the B&M car, just didn't feel right. The SLP and GMM were/are great. I had the SLP before the GMM and really liked it. Just like the HURST I had in my WS6. The GMM is better than the rest though.

I like the fact the GMM, and the SLP for that matter, bolt to the trans. Just like all the old F-Body shifters do. The others are just a better factory shifter.

the B&M is worse than the stock shifter IMO.....the Hurst has been dangling around for the last 3 years with no release!

Dude there is too a Hurst shifter for the new GTOs. You can go to the Hurst web page and look it up. I also posted the part # in my thread along with a site that sells it.
