RPMs
sorry its been so long, been pretty busy at work. I have an issue with my RPMs. I had to replace my extension housing, which caused my shifting solenoid to fuck up. now my RPMs arent being stable and jump back and forth maybe 250 to 500 RPMs. I know its only a little but you can definitely feel it. any ideas what it could be? Plus I had to pay in Euros

did you chrck your IAC motor on the throttle body?
the only thing that should be in the tailshaft is the speed sensor, when mine took a dump the speedo would go haywire and it would bounce from 2 3 2 3 2 3 from about 15mph till about 30mph.......i think this is what actually caused my tranny to grenade

no havent checked that yet.
mine is alright at the lower speeds, then around 45 to 60 mph it starts to bounce around. It doesnt go a full level just in between. i've also had the speedo drop all the way to 0 while driving, then a couple seconds later it would go back to the right speed.
You'd think since they have made cars like the porshe and the mercedes-benz, probably really complicated cars, that the germans could fix this little Australian car no problem.

I'd throw in a new speed sensor as soon as possible, I picked one up at GM for around $30 US.
jack the car up and its very easy to get to, just one bolt( 7 or 8mm) I believe

where is the best place to get a new speed sensor? online from GM parts, or from the dealership? and what about the IAC motor you mentioned?
