I've done 4 or 5 now. Sorry no pics for you though. I'll try to get some later this week. Not sure how soon you plan on doing it.
They aren't the strongest like rolling the lip on a old school GM.
I had better lucky doing grinding on the lip about half of whats there now and rolling the rest. The key is to not let the metal get too hoi in one area while grinding. That way the paint doesn't burn.A wet towel and spong help.

Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

I would stay away from that method as much as possiable!! It leaves VERY sharp edges that cut a sidewall down in mili seconds!!!
Once you cut or grind away half of the lip it is weak enough to just bend back. Use a wood bat to bend lip.

REMEMBER YOU NEED MORE CLEARENCE THAN YOU THINK!!!

The IDS gives sideways movement. As a rule I like to be able to atleast put my finger tips inbetween the sidwall and the lip.

We put 275's on the rear and they fit like a glove. No need to roll the fenders. I will try to get pictures up. It tuks up there REEEAAALLLY nicely.

    Fenders

I have rolled mine 2 1/2 inches to fit a 280/680/17 race tire on a 17 X 11 rim. Tucks up nicely! I rolled it as I needed the car to be lower for drifting.

I have a shot of it, unfortunately not a very good one will get a better one later.

Correction on what I typed, We flared our fenders to get it lower. we did that by cutting and re-welding it, it turned out GGGRRREEEAAT! And havin those wide width tires back there makes it hook up NICE!

I'm getting a new set of rims 18x8.5 with 255/40/18 for 06 gto....they guy I talked to at wheelfire told me I would probaly have to roll my fenders to fit them? Is that true or they just bolt up no problem? I dunno what the offset of the rims are or if that would have any affect on it but Imma find out later today.

It's all going to depend on the offset or backspacing of your new wheel. I would say that it is going to be close!!

How wide of a tire can you put on the rear without doing any changes to the cars rear quarter panel.

Roll them....mine have been rolled with a wooden block and a mallet like they should be...cutting/grinding ...there is tack welds you are cutting and grinding...that is weakening the metal....I have 255's....

You may also find this of some value....

hey if you use the stock wheels and nittos you dont need to roll em or cut them,i have the c-6 vette wheels 9.5 outback the 275 fit no problems and just to make sure we have a stock 06 gto (freinds car) put my wheels under it ,no rubbing of any type,IMO best way is to trim them rather then rolling them, but not everyone has the tool and resources/abilities that I do. heres a shot of mine with my 15 inch wheels http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...medigginit.jpg
