Remote horn sounds

Sometimes when I go to lock my car the car honks 5 times quickly and wont lock the doors. What does this mean?

It's a software glitch. Nothing you can do about it. We have had our GTO reflashed twice and it still does it from time to time. Just think of it as your car talking to you, " Thanks for filling me up or thanks for changing my oil " Something like that.

Did you try locking the doors with any of the doors, hood, trunk not fully closed? I know if the hood, trunk, doors aren't fully closed, and you try locking anything with the fob, the alarm will sound with five fast chirps. Unlock all doors and trunk, close everything and lock with fob. The sounds should stop.
