Is it really worth doing a throttle body bypass?

I've read on a few threads here that some of you guys have done a throttle body bypass, is this a worth while mod or not? If it is worth while to do could someone tell me what I need to do to bypass (detailed instructions would be clutch). My warranty finally expired so I am now moving forwrd with mods on my 04 M6 GOAT. I just ordered the Diablo Predator Tuner and Kook's LT headers w/ high flow CATS and the Borla sport CAT-back exhaust system will be the next mod followed by getting rid of the plain Jane factory hood and replacing it with the RK Sport Fiberglass RAM Air hood. Of course forced induction is also on my list (APS Twin turbo!!!!!!!! Check out airperformancesystems.com if you want to see this BAD BOY!!!!). Thanks in advance for all your help guys.

Thanks for the info, but is it a worthwhile mod? Any advantages to doing it or not doing it?

It's free. You don't need any extra parts at all. So, yes, its worth it
