    Cool radar detector hookup (gto)

i was wondering if there was any place i could hook up my radar detector in my goat from a 12v source from the radio from a fuse box or sumtin so my radar will turn on when i turn my ignition on....main reason is because i wanna hide the wire, the cigarette outlet is all the way in the center console, and pluggin it in there would prob look terrible,lol...anyone have any past experiences?? or know what i should do?

If you have a bel/escort, there is a direct wireing kit you can get from radarbusters.com. There is also a couple vids on there showing you how to hook it up. Oh yeah, they also have a little fused link wire you can buy too, makes the install much cleaner and easier. Check it out.

The fuse box is under the hood, that is where I had to wire up my KB boost-a-pump, for supercharger.....if that helps, blackz

I wired mine on the formula into the powersource for the radio. Just make sure you wire it into the Key on power (can't think of the actual name right now) and not the constant power. Good luck.
