PURCHASE GTO or G35?
Well im in the process of selling my 99Z and am in the market for a sporty coupe...hearing some mixed things about the GTO...heard great things about the G35 but i drove one and was not that impressed...especially with the interior...love the interior and seats on the GTO...prolly go for a used 2005 M6..dealer around hear has like 6 new auto 2006's that he'll let go for 29000 but i didnt want to fork out that much...
What should i expect to pay for a low mileage 2005?
based on your experiences what are your recommendations ....
ohh..PS...what is with the radio in the GTO it Sucks big ones!!! it would have to go.
let me know thanks

i hate the g35 i would definitely get the gto. I was unimpressed after i raced one, they made it seem so much faster than it was. My friend got an 05 with 9k miles for 23,800 from the dealer so they should be around that range but his was an auto.

I used autoMart.com & autotrader - found an 04 silver m6 listed for 22k. had 7,400 miles on it, garage kept weekender. by the time i was done, financing 18k. nows the time to start looking and playing dealers against each other with winter here. price drops when the snow flys. use carfax also - i found 1 scan and 2 that were banged up...

" I heard"....I love those things
I didn't ask antibody's advice on what girl I should marry and I sure as hell dont ask anybodys advice on what car I should buy. A car is a personal thing....drive em....kick the tires....research ( be careful of internet babble)...buy what you want....This is my signature. It is mine. Nobody else has one like it.

the G35 is a nice car my friend has one and loves it. But if you want to mods then you must get a GTO.

Quicksilver- 2004 Pontiac GTO
My mind was set on a G35 but I felt somewhat guilty about buying anything without an American Nameplate. I drove a GTO and bought it immediately. Then my wife loved it so much I bought a second one. NOTHING compares to AMERICA's V8s. If you decide against the GTO, at least get a Mustang GT.

a ls2 gto is way faster than a g35, sounds better than a g35, looks better, etc.... go with a gto, it'll hold its value better i think

Instead of the G35 look at the 350Z Track. It is much better overall. That still is no comparison to the GTO. I drove the 350Z and picked a Trans-Am over that one. I also drove the 06 GTO and that is the one to get between those 2. I never drove the G35, but it is the basicly same, but slower and more pricey version of the 350Z that is padded down for the older more conservitive type.

+1, one of my co-workers has a 350Z, I think G35 and 350Z are pretty much the same car.. in terms of power of 350Z, I beat the guy from stop to 90 by about 3 cars and I was stock at that time. in terms of suspension the 350Z is nice, but the LS2 suspension great and is far more superior than LS1... in terms of interior, GTO hands down. I test drove it and I was impressed... the torque was impressive... now it's upto you to decide, but I just gave my 2 cents.
