Thumbs up Oil Pan fitment problems

Hello, this is my first post. I have a 1999 Tahoe 4wd that is my project. 2004 GTO LS1, Built 4L60E raptor, 2004 rear end 4.10 with HD bearings support cover, polyurethane bushings throughout, 14" rotors with 2002 Tahoe twin piston calipers front and rear, rack and pinion like steering, 20" wheels and tires from 2008 Tahoe. I bought the trick flow head and cam combo from summit 485hp - 460tq. Long tube Pacesetter headers. WOW what a project, 80% of the work is fabrication. Nothing fits. The problem I have now is that I bought a late model 5.3/6.0 truck oil pan and it does not fit. When I go to put it on the pickup tube hits the bottom of the pan with at least an inch until the pan touches the block. Thank you for any help.

Yup us Goat Drivers have a funky pan. Check out a sponsor ( cannot think of his name right now) he has used ones off wrecked GTO's.

I still want to run a truck oil pan. I have th gto one and don't think it will work. Why would it not work? I thought they all were ls based motors. Any help would be great. Thanks

The pan is special to fit the goat xmember and deeper to cut down on windage. But you mentioned using Tahoe brakes. A little enlightening would be appreciated...

What the truck came with single piston calipers and 10.5" rotors front and 11'' drums in rear. I have changed to Hydroboost(works off of power steering pump), OEM new body style tahoe twin piston calipers with 14'' ssbc sloted rotors front and rear.
