New rear end for 06 GTO

It's been awhile since I've been on and maybe its been asked before, didn't see anything yet.
My question is what is a good new replacement rear end for an 06?

Update since I was on last. Not in Afghanistan anymore, but currently in Iraq. Car is in the shop getting a lot of things done, can't wait to show pictures when I'm done. So thats why i need a new rear end for it.

You can get an Eaton TrueTrac for your existing rear or a 9 inch center section kit. But the 9 inch kit is almost $4k. You can also check out the Harrop site as they have larger rears for our cars.

Because there are those of us whom have been plagued by whining, chattering rears. I STILL don't get how folks can run fully-modded GTOs and STILL have a factory rear. Hell...I don't beat on mine, and I have gone through, I think, 4 rears. And that's shifting at 2k in the city and 3-5k merging onto a highway.

lol well i think might have to do with your car being a stick,do you have any drive line mods, like a aluminum drive shaft, harrop cover etc? stick cars are way more abusive then us auto guys.
I always preload mine before launching it,I think that helps.

I have a Harrop. Do they cause issues with M6 cars?

Mine is A4 and its in the shop now while i'm in Iraq getting a supercharger installed. it was a thought from the mechanic at the shop, he said the GTOs where notorious for weak rears, but that might be the M6s not sure.

I was reading online about the rears. Apparently, some were defective from the factory. So there is a chance you might have a good one.
