red- 2004 Pontiac GTO
need help please
i have a 2004 gto A4 w/32000 miles it ran great all day and all of a sudden i did not have 1st or 4th gear. it would take off in 2nd and go to third but would not lock up. I stopped and checked the trans fluid and it was topped off and didnt smell burned. turned the car off then back on and 1st and 4th were back and it locked up, what could this be? please help has anyone had this problem?

Hopefully you are still covered by warrenty... That sound strange and every-thing is electronic... Even if it keeps shifting good, I would still report it before the warrenty runs out. Good Luck.

It sounds like it's in limp mode.
Your check engine light is on also right?Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
