    My new GTO

    Greetings!

I just bought an 04 GTO black on black with the M6. 36K.
It already has a K&N filter and intake and cat back AM exaust installed.
I would like to do a couple of mods to it like upgrade the brakes and shocks and get a stage 2 clutch (which I assume can take some abuse).
I would also like to get a diiferent MAF sensor which supposely increases the HP....what about a chip??

Anyways my main question is does any one have any good recomandations for the things listed above? ex like brand names
Also can the stock hood be modified to accept some kind of scoops?...I know I could get the 2005 Hood but I was wondering if the stock hood can actually be modified....

And one last ?.....mine didn't come with an owners manual so is there a site when I can download the PDF???

Any other helpfull info on the "04 GTO would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance..

    Chris....

The scoops are not functional Ram Air anyways. Asside from looks, they only aide in under hood heat extraction and the way these gtos suffer from heat soak, not a bad idea.
As far as suspension components go- Get Pedder's bushings and a Noltech IRS differential insert.
    04/A4 Quicksilver
    Magnflow catback-Resonator delete
    K&N drop in
SAP front Grills and 05 hood
Limo tinted windows-Gets me pulled over alot
    Diablosport Predator (RWTD) tune.

    Thank You for the info....

    Few more questions mates...:

Does the "Diablosport Predator tuner" really adds up 20-30HP and increases gas mileage like they say??

Does the After market cat back exhaust increase horsepower or is it for the looks and or sound??

I got my hood from mpd inc....out of valparaso IN....Eric is the owner, and his hood is functional, if you buy his intake system.....I'm not sure what he wants for the hood......whatever it is I didn't pay that b/c I know the guy, but anyway...I have a diablosport and tuned my whole car with it. Supercharger and all....but I had a guy from Diablosport (Yohaun)write me a custom tune because of the (supercharger)and tweeked it in on the dyno. I did run there "generic" tune before all the mods and it really woke the ls1 up.....it is a good tool if there is no tuner near where you live. You can get rid of the skip shift which annoyed the crap out of me, change the fan settings so they come on sooner and stay on longer and other stuff....bang for the buck I considered it a good investment...also I can always go back to stock tune. If I ever sell the car and part all the aftermarket goodies off of it.....my .02 worth here are some pics of the hood http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...o/IMG_0359.jpg

    diablo

i dont know if the diablo is good for 20-30 hp and you prolly wont see a increase in mileage, but did u buy a gto for mileage lol. but driven right a gto can get very good mileage especially an m6. but you will fell a noticable difference at least i did and it makes it more fun to drive without torque management lol
