    this may have already been covered but can anyone tell me the difference between ls1 heads and ls2 heads if in fact there is any difference? also whats the difference in the blocks i belive teh ls1 is a 346 cubic inch and the ls2 366 i could be wrong on that, so the bore is the only difference which is 4.00 on the ls2 and 3.90 on the ls1 and stroke being 3.62 and compression ratio being 10.9 on ls2 and 10 on ls1 my question is if i could get a set of ls2 heads would there be any advantages to putting them on? and also since its a 4 inch bore will 350 pistons work?

    You pretty much got it right. The ls2 heads flow much better and would be a great addition to a mild cammed ls1. There are quite a few using the 243's on their ls1.
