lingenfelter
im trying to track down a lingenfelter cai for my 04.my question is do i need to do a tune after its installed?my other question wheres a good place to get one?

thanks, i was kinda hoping someone was selling a used one so i wouldnt have to pay 350 for it

I personally don't think you would have to tune the car after it's installation as your really not picking up enough power to really throw things off, but I could be wrong.

No...just force a relearn.
Pull the ECM 10v red fuse out of your fuse box under the hood on the passenger side. Turn your ignition on (dont start the car!)....this drains the power.....leave it on for like 10 seconds.....you'll get some error codes as it cycles dont worry about it. Turn the key off...put the fuse back in. Idle may be rough etc. but your forcing the ECM to relearn. Drive it like you stole it. Your good to go.
