    Cool Lets talk 2-Steps!

Well, slowly but surely I'm piecing this new 04 together.
It's shaping up to be a lot like the Vette, only EFI...
Having said THAT, I would really like to NOT blow this one up

    Time for a 2-Step!
I need some insight, here are my preliminaries:

    Synergy
    Mallory
    MSD
    Lingenfelter

    Foot notes:
Synergy: No feed back available for this unit. Anyone running this?

Mallory: an oldie but a goodie. I have Mallory ignition in my rail car and would prefer not to use it in my GTO, but any feed back about the EFI application would be appreciated.

MSD: No feed back on the web available that I could locate. I did read that its ease-of-installation was amazing. Someone confirm?

Lingenfelter: I hear this unit reduces spark, but not fuel; creating violent back firing and unspent fuel build up. I don't run cats in my exhaust, so I'm not terrible worried about that. But the build-up I am.

IF YOU'RE GOING TO RATE A PRODUCT'S INSTALLATION, PLEASE DO SO ON A SCALE OF 1-10.

thanks guys, much appreciated as always!

    Thanks.
How fast is the ignition stutter?
    How was the installation?
Is it on a button or a constant power supply?

they are great for breaking parts on an N/A car.... I'm not sure what else though outside of a race car.

A 2-step is only gonna help if with a trans-brake and delay box.The things it would help are reaction times and shave a little off 60ft times and add alot of consistancy to your ET's at the track. I'm switching to this type of setup at the end of this race season.

i use mine as a lszy way to stage my 6 speed car... make things easy and take out about 4 things to do while im at the tree... btw steve is right if ur not running a good rear and a good clutch it will break ur stuff.

some guys use them to get tight up on there converter

the down side is they keep 2 steps outta 90% of all street classes ive seen.
and some times u get a back fire when they are set at lower rpm

At most tracks they will let you use 2-steps as long as no delay.Thats how I've been getting beat is because its easier to let go of a button than move a foot. Not real fair to guys that don't launch off a button. If you decide to install one do a how-to install.

Should have time to install it next weekend.
    Work has been nuts.
    But I certainly will.
Pics and tutorials, etc - as usual.
