knock

Ive noticed lately that my car makes a knocking sound everytime i brake coming to a complete stop... im wondering can it be the motor mounts or anything..or something to do with the brakes.??? it kinda feels like the motor moves a lil...anyone else have this problem>

It could be the U-joints in the driveshaft. I know our cars have some "slop" or play in the driveline.

your not kidding.. my buddies old mustang's driveline is solid.. i wonder when all the tq is going to catch up when i punch the goat?

thats weird, is more of a KNOCK< KNOCK sound. i mean is it repetitive until u stop. and also are you sure its coming from the front? just a quick question before i give my thoughts

It could be as simple as your lug nuts could be loose on a wheel.

na it only happens once as i come to a complete stop..its pretty wierd i know..
