Thumbs up Jones'n for an new 'Fix'!

Ok, now that we are into daylight savings time here and summer is one step closer, I am looking for that next 'mod' to fill my HP addiction. Here is what I have done so far:

    2004 GTO A4
    Magnaflow cat-back
    CAI brand air intake
Pedders Street 1 (not yet installed, but soon)
Front & Rear Sway Bar Bushings (not yet installed, but soon)
Diablo Tuner (custom settings per LS1.com)

I am thinking about the following free mods:
    porting the MAF
    porting the TB

Are there any other mod's for ~$500 that will add some HP? I will start saving for some headers, but it's not in the cards yet. Any suggestions would be great

I just recently put a 85mm throttle body (rpmoutlet.com) on my goat and i could tell a difference. I also put ported maf ends from pfyc.com. They cost about $60-$70 and can easily be installed by you. The next thing that i am going to do is get a matching 85mm intake manifold.

Sounds like a plan. Do you have an A4? IF yes, I would seriously recomend a tuner. I would say my diablo added 25-30 rwhp! Best $300 I have ever spent (E-bay new)!

Yes, i already have a predator with the tune that i got from this website, along with a full catback, k&n cold air induction, thermostat, ported maf ends and the throttle body. The car runs pretty good, and yes i have an A4.

Buy a nitrous kit. You can get a new kit for the money you have now from Harris for the money your talking about spending.

Pull some timing out with you Predator put some real plugs and be going low 12's all day.

NO OTHER MODS ARE GOING TO BE ANYWHERE CLOSE IN POWER GAINS!!
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Here's a free one for you being an 04. Throttle stop grind mod. Those who've done this can vouch for it.

You can get coated pacesetters lt with catless mids for just over 500.00. Or you can get ported and polished TB and Intake Manifold for 450.00 plus core charge that of course you would get back.

Is it difficult to port and polish a stock intake manifold? Is there any substantial gains with this, or would a FAST intake net more power (stock heads/cam)?

I am not familair with the port and polishing process but a Fast manifold and TB would double the price that you are looking to spend. From the ported polished TB and Manifold I would venture a guess of about 17rwhp total. I am not too familar with the Fast set up except for its expensive
