    It's Been Awhile Since...

I've been here. In fact, so long I had to re-register as Silver Goat. I was The Silver Goat.
QSM, M6, Red Interior, All Bolts, Pedderized the suspension except body mounts, dropped the nose an inch, adjustable radius arms, catch can, TB By Pass, and CAI. 45K on the clock. Hope everybody is okay. Sarge still around?

Welcome back to the site! Strange that you weren't able to use your existing account. Any future plans for mods or is the Silver Goat staying as is? Sarge hasn't been around for a while - he's on sabbatical.

I've thought aboout camming her, something mild, as I'm not really interested replacing the headers. I'm hoping, at some point in time (sooner than later) these vehicles appreciate in value. Given the limited production run and dwindling numbers. Seems the low mileage goats are holding their own now. When I do decide to sell it I'll be going to play a round at St. Andrews, and either fishing an Alaskain or Russian salmon run... my bucket list.

I always liked the GTO's, but there are just none in our area. Only time I get to see them is at GM Carlisle in June. Whereabouts in the "mitten"? My whole family is from Bay City and I did a year at GMI (now Kettering) in Flint.

Alaska is beautiful beyond description... my brother has lived in Anchorage for around 14 years.

In the heart of Ford country, Dearborn. I work downtown across from the Ren Cen, GM HQ.
Great fishing up that way. Every fall we head to the Manistee, the Betsie and the Pere Marquette for salmon. There killing the runs in Alaska with all the netting of fall runs before they to the rivers to spawn. Russia has untouched rivers where you have to helicopter in, and try to land 70# beasts.

So my daughter getting married this summer. She wants to use my 08 Explorer for the honeymoon upnorth. They live in California and they are coming here for the wedding... My goat hasn't been a DD for 8 years. I washing her today and realized the wiper blades are original to the vehicle... hope it doesn't rain the week of August 18th.

You should enjoy a week with the GTO. I know I would!
