    HEY GUYS I BEEN SEARCHING AND LOOKING FOR LONG TIME HOW TO KEEP MY ORIGINAL CAR STEREO WITH THE ORIGINAL LOOK NOW FINALLY IS HERE
    THE IPOD INTERFACE FOR THE PONTIAC GTO .
    THAT U CAN CONTROL OVER YOUR STEERING WHEEL BACK,FORWORD SKIP REPEAT ETC.....

    I want one. I wonder if his firmware will work with most MP3 players? Really doesn't say....I prefer the SansDisc player.....but if it is just iPod then I am cool with that also.

    I've been keeping my eye on this too but it's just a bit more than I would want to spend to modify the stock radio. I'll just have to stick with my ghetto ipod interface for now i guess.

    The stock stereo I will have to say sucks!

    I do like the stock head unit in terms of the aesthetics of the car though. I saw online earlier but can't find it again the system description manual for the GTO's stereo.

    Does anybody have that or a link?

    I have the AVIC-700BT. There is a AVIC-900BT with more bells and whistles. If it is something you look into getting it has backup camera hook ups. I got the back up camera with it but not going to use it. It is worth $250 i will let it go for $175 shipped.
