Interchangeability
I need to know if anyone here has ever swapped an 05/06 cluster in their 04. My cluster has an LCD bleed and noticed, today, there are more black spots in the odometer LCD screen. Any advice?

Not sure.......however I have seen where 04s have more issues than the 05/06s.
I thought there was something that kept them from not being interchangeable but not sure. Do you ever get the "strange" happenings with your cluster? This is what leads me to think that they are not but I could be wrong. My 04 did it once. I turned the car off and back on about 5 times and it never did it again. I would be going 10mph and the speedo would go up to about 65 and then go to 180+ at about 45mph......lol It was odd to say the least but it then went away.

The temp gauge on mine used to spike in the red until I drove the car. Then the needle went back to its normal range. Hasn't done that in almost a year though.

If I am correct 04 is different than the 05/06, but 05 is the same as 06

Thanx guys. Just found one on eBay for $50. Red Hot cluster for an 04 M6. Just have to get it reprogrammed once I take delivery.

Got the cluster Thursday and going to call my tuner tomorrow and see if he can reprogram the cluster. If not, then dealership here I come...ouch!!!

Custom cluster programming. They can activate the factory shift light, change the startup logo, etc2004 CPM M6
TSP Torqer v2 112lsa, Landspeed Stage II 241's, K&N drop-in, Blevins Tune, muffler delete, more to come
