    ignition amplifier?

This weekend while cleaning the shop I found a (Nology)... I think that's how the brand name is spelled, ignition amplifier, still in its package on the shelf. my question is could I hook this up on my goat to get any extra power or is it made for just points ignition. I have no clue exactly what it does, how to hook it up, or I could even use it on my car.
any help would be greatly appreciated guys thanks!

ok, thanks Sarge! like I said I found it on the shelf and wasn't sure exactly what it was for, or how it worked... after doing some more research on it I think it might be for a motorcycle anyway
