HP reduction from fly wheel to rw

I've have two questions;

1) how much hp is lost from fly wheel to tire with an M6?

2) is it safe to assume anything from a c5 corvette will fit 04 gto?

1) about 15% or so

2) it's an ls1, so probably.

2.) I don't think the t-stat from a C5 fits the GTO. I think it is a truck t-stat. But they might both be the same....
