    Talking Hoooaaaaah...Santa Claus came early

    UPS delivery today...

A shiny new Vortech V2 S-Trim blower was delivered to the house today!

Went through the box, making sure everything was delivered and accounted for. So far so good. If my wife wouldn't have been around, I'd have made sweet redneck love to the head unit. That will have to wait, I suppose.

Gave a call to tuners (JMS Chip) I used to take my Mustangs to and they have a guy there with loads of LS1 tuning experience. Spoke to him on the phone, told him my mods, said he'd done many just like it. So that's a load off my mind. I *may* use Allen Performance. I've been tossing both scenarios around in my head, but the fact that I know the guys here and have a prebuilt relationship is really winning over.

Went ahead and started yanking parts off the redheaded bish to get an early start on the weekend install. Can't wait to get it tuned, on the dyno and see what kinds of numbers she turns.

Nothing better than upgrades sitting at your door when you get home, or seeing the fed ex/ups truck pull up. And of course we all check our tracking numbers atleast twice a day to check the progress haha.

So, done with the install. No suprises, everything fit where it was supposed to fit. Didn't need to get out a bigger hammer at any point during the install. Getting to the fuel tank was a bit of a pain in the ass, though.

Should be receiving my Vortech tune today, but still won't be romping on the go pedal until I can get a custom tune, which I'm HOPING I can get done by the first of next week, work and dyno scheduling available.

    It's awfully tempting though...

I've got before, during, and after pics on the camera waiting to be uploaded. Gotta get a new cable after my dog decided to use the existing on as dental floss Going to order one from Sony today.

It's actually not all that attractive. I miss the GTO engine covers.
