    Home on R&R tomorrow!!!

Cant wait to spend some quality time with the wife and car lol. Going to install my Kooks longtubes, CAI, and Spark wires. I can almost hear that engine roar in my sleep. lol sorry if this seems a little obsessive, but jesus h christ do i miss my goat.

    Question.
I had my oil changed just before i shipped out in july, and my wife has been starting it and driving it a little to keep things running smoothly. Would it be best to change the oil as soon as i get there, or is it okay due to minimal use?

II know just how you feel. I put my headers on when I returned from Korea. It was fucking SWEEEEET. The hardest part was taking my time with all the installs. I have had them on for about a year and still love the sound my goat makes when I start it up! Oil change is your call. It can't hurt to do. You won't need a new filter just fluid. I would leave it with a full tank when you leave. The more empty space in the tank the more room for condensation to develop in it.

Enjoy your time home man. The oil should be fine since it was hardly used. I know how you feel when it comes to being deployed and having parts waiting for install. I could have built my TA 4 times with the prts I had on my wish list while I was deployed.

Oil should be fine. Especially if it is synthetic. If your wife has been starting and driving the car, you are good to go. That car is going to sound NASTY once the headers and CAI in. And once you get it tuned, you will have to re-learn how to drive it. In other words, the way you drove the car when stock will possibly chirp/spin the rear tires once the mods are done.
