If a person had any idea how small the orifice is on a fuel injector they would have a new found appreciation for air filtration.

You could put a cone filter on the end, but you might still get some air turbulence with all the ripples in the stock intake elbow.

Go to.a pep nous they sell the pipe to make a Cai including elbows and silicone cons for the pipe to maf. Thinking we will ne to go that route once we get the LS1 in my friends 91 240sx it will need a custom setup . although if.you own a heat gun obx bends easy and you can paint it.

Your right...I have a 4" on the filter and had a 3.5 on the MAF. Run a SD tune now. No MAF.

I noticed JHP has their smooth tubes on sale for $159 shipped. It's www.jhp.com.au if that helps you any. Also, www.coldairinductions.com has the cone filter for a good price and they are made to fit our MAFs. Mine fits perfect and it was 50 bucks. Just so you have an idea when you get some cash.
