Apparently you already bought the goat by your name.

I'll state again that it is a very good deal! Knocking $4,000 off sticker with no GM incentives is good dealing on your part. It's not 'end of the year' sales time by any stretch. You are getting the car you want, and not settling for something, plus there was basically NO miles on the car. It wasn't some 'used' DEMO with 3,000 miles on it already. Pat yourself on the back and enjoy your ride for many years! There will be be many envious people out there. This is it for the GTO for now, maybe forever. Congratulations!

For the record I`ve been debating on trading in or selling my vette and getting a GTO, I didn`t like them at first but they grew on me.

I forgot to mention this. The 6 speed's have the CAGS skip-shift. You can have it tuned out or buy a little $15 thing from SLP to take care of it. It can be a pain in traffic if you are forced to shift from 1st to 4th gear if you're going around 20 mph and are at light throttle. The engine gets all bogged down.

Really? I got a quote today for a '06 6sp & 17" wheels for $30,986. MSRP is $33,690. I figure I could qualify for the non-GM owner $1000.00 rebate since my wifey poo has Honda. question now is ... can I live without T-Tops?

I live in delaware, and you can find a 05 gto in the low 20's, saw one the other day with 5k on the clock and they wanted 23k.
