Gas cap help!

Were can I get a gas cap that works for our cars? I got one a the local parts store(autozone) but it set off the SES light. It is indeed the gas cap that is causing the light becuase the ses did not go off with the orginal cap. It was just a pain in the a** to get off which is why I replaced it.

I think NAPA and Pep Boys sell a "Stant" replacement cap, that fixes the issues with them. Theres also a TSB out on the 04's for fuel caps. Pretty sure it doesnt cover 05-06, but I could be wrong.

Check out NAPA, ask for a Stant cap for your car.

Advance Auto also sells the stant one. Go ahead and replace even if no troubble it will later and the stant one is cheep and will not fail you. Just a good prevent mod.

I had trouble with mine. Took 15 - 20 minutes at the gas station to take it off. Got a letter from GM that there was a problem and to get it replaced at the nearest dealer. Free of charge. No probs since.
