    Fuel pump relay signal wire

Ok, im trying to the wiring on this scavenge pump. My thought is to use the signal wire for the fuel pump relay to trip my oil pump relay, this way it primes, and runs while the vehicle is running.

where the fuel pump relay at? Or does anyone know a better way to do this??

Im assuming its near the battery in the relay box, lol. but ive never had the cap off, so just looking for insight before i leave work

I always use the jumper for the fuel pump, this way all you need to do is splice it back there, the jumper wire can be ran right through the wiring harness that goes through the trunk ,I put the wire inside the groumet, all you need is to activate the power side of a relay.

u always use the "jumper wire". Please forgive me, but it took me two weeks to tackle my nitrous setup, Im just a scared bitch when it comes to wiring, lol.

Could you maybe explain a little more about this "jumper" wire, what color is it, and where it can be found. If all else fails, ill wire the thing to a switch and hope to remember to turn it on and off. lol

ok Ill double check the color and maybe even take a pic to show u how to wire it in,they can post and sticky it in the How too section ..lol
Its a simple install, all you need is a seperate relay and some wire.

not a problem ill give you the details, ill post up later today pics and instructions. here you go

the wire is purple this is the wire you need to use on the relay 12 volt exciter wire ,this is the one you need that turns on the relay side so it sends power from the relay to what ever you want to use. I taped it to the exhisting wireing harness and through the groumet.

lol help..ok yes .you will need a power wire from front, I ran one from the alternator.(or battery), hot side, back to the power side on the relay or pin 30
then purple wire to pin 86,this wire is the one you spliced into it makes the relay send power to the oil pump.
the ground can be hooked to any good ground under the car.
the ground going to the pump just ground it to one of the bolts where its mounted.
    its that simple,yes 4 prong.
