You mentioned the TB waterbypass, relocating the IAT to the CAI box. Could you point me in the direction where I can get info to do this.

For the TB Bypass go to figure 8...from there it is the same for your 04 GTO.....just go to Home Depot and get youself some clamps and 3/8" copper splice thingy....or order the kit....doesnt matter.....

Relocate your IAT for sure....Go to NAPA and get a IAT sensor for a 2004 Corvette ( Like $12 bucks).....it will come with the connector and pigtails....I got a little KN type ricer filter from AutoZone ( $3 bucks) that fit the IAT sensor perfect....splice and soder your wires and that extends your IAT....now put it away from the engine bay area as far as you can...if you have a stock air box...I'd drill a lil hole in it and stick it in there...if you have a aftermarket CAI you can do what I did....it really makes a difference with heat soak......

Yup....a little different though as the IAT connecter is part of the pin out in the MAF sensor....no biggie though....Parts you'll need........
    1) Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor
    - GM P/N 12160244 or AC-Delco 213-243
    2) Connector with wires
    - GM P/N 12102620
Pull the MAF sensor out and peel back some of the tape....you'll see
a brown and brown w/ yellow stripe wires those are the IAT connector wires. Grab the wires down by the "Y" in the wiring loom....
Splice and solder your wires......and relocate to a cooler spot. Big help with heat soak....
