yea man i know it sucked..You know when it rains, and you have the trac off and floor it...and your RPM's are high but you aint moving....yea that what it felt like through out the 1st and even the 2nd gear..but after that it picked up pretty good.. and i dont know what 60" times is but this was what the slip had

The 2.229 is your 60 foot time. The 2.229 seconds is well not so good. It basically says you weren't getting any traction when you launched. Once you get that time under 2.00 you will be on your way to seeing what your mods can really do. Getting drag radials will help you drop that time really fast.

60ft is that I1 so it was a 2.2. So did you only make 1 run? If so that's the reason. If you would've made 2 or 3 more passes you would've got a good run in.

I hear you, honestly your not ready for that, not trying to be a dick but need to learn how to launch..driving a car with enough power to run 10s take accurred skills, practice danialson..wax on wax off..lol.always love it when those M6 guys say point and shoot, then i tell em,well when was the last time you ever drove a car with enough power to run 10 seconds, that usually shuts em up.like Sarge posted they all are diffrent, just take knowing your limits and the cars..live, learn, be safe and have fun.

First time I took mine to the track had the same problem, after 10 runs got the hang of it [1/8 track] and finally run an 8.21, felt like the track had oil on it, real eye opener, was in Dallas visiting the kids and I think it was in Ennis. Still was fun but makes you POed!!!

there are way too many factors, drag radials are a must even to get decent times in stock form from a car,if you have an auto you will need a stall, depends on mods, every car is diffrent, tire pressure has alot to do with hook also, for example last track day we had a bunch of younge guys there, they had 25-35 psi in their rear tires, they were complaining about car spinning,so i helped them set the right pressure, and thier 60ft times dropped, wala.

Well first off DON'T drive through the water box!!
    Drive around it!
Second don't do ANY type of smokey burnout!!
A light haze or small power brake for a couple seconds is ALL street tires want and need.

Just back up after driving around the water box and stop BEFORE the water.

Don't lower your tires more than 22-24 at the most.

    Good Luck.

ok...now i know its the tires...Just raced a ford lighting(stock)...and took him by 2 cars at a roll of 20...Then we raced from a dig...he took me.. i had to let go of the gas pedal cause my car was twisting to much..thought i would hit him..anyways as soon as i got grip i caught up to him pretty quick and still ended up kicking his ass..hahahaha ford....na but i need some tires man.!!!!!!
