FBody guys have it made
Now that I have the 25th Anniversary Trans Am....I've noticed.....dayum stuff is cheap for that thing. I guess I'm so use to $1000 headers and $900 cat back exhaust....even CAI's are dirt cheap.....everything is half price compared to the Goat....Finishing up the engine rebuild....got all the rocker arms/lifters/balls/nuts etc. for like $180 bucks....New OptiSpark wasn't free for sure....but performance parts are sho nuff cheap for FBodies when you compare to the GTO....

So much for keeping it stock huh? I've seen that too. Lt1's are nowhere near as expensive as the LS1.

Impulse Blue- 2004 GTO
LT1's are on the cheap side now. They were the same as LS1's when they were still new. 25th's are nice. I'm partial to the 20th Anniversary myself

Nothing really.....We are putting the motor back together...we went ahead and rebuilt is completely....trannie and rear end are in good shape...went ahead and flushed and filled both of them.....other than that it has a KN CAI and that's it.....guy had like 3 aftermarket alarm kits from WalMart on it....they now reside in the dumpster.... She is just a really clean well maintained car.....keep her stock except for my 300 RWHP KN CAI

This is how it was in the import world. can you imagine paying about $1800 for cams? How about almost $2000 for a 4cyl crank?
