Shit.....I am tired of "winter" ( We don't have no stinking winter anyway) projects. Axles/Stubs/Stiffy/Grounding the block (great mod)/Satt Radio/5Pt Racing Harness/alignment/splitter/.....

Back in the day we would have a weak spark/slow starting/missing at higher rpm's etc....and could never figure it out half the time until we learned our block wasn't grounded or had a half ass ground....so get yourself some 2guage wire and ground your block....I went from the head where the stiffy bracket is and grounded it straight to the chassis....as I was having heat soaked starter issues until I remembered my old 65 GTO and her grounding issues....I grounded it and voila....no more heat soaked starter issues......
You get a much stronger spark....stronger starter current etc. etc.

NIce,I think the 05-06 have a ground under /throught or near the air condition bracket to the block ,forgot it once and damn car would not start.

That's nice to know, thanks for the heads up. Don't have any problems now but think I will do just for peace of mind, it can't hurt and might heip out and now I know why the 57 chevy was hard to start after it was hot!
