    IE shaft

Thought I would rejoin this discussion. I never had a BMR shaft so I am uncertain as to their nature. But reason tells us that the IE shaft maybe lighter since it does not use a machined steel adapter.

But more important, is that the IE shaft uses conventional and strong 1350 spicer joints and yokes for both the transmission and pinion shafts. These simple joints allow for the most efficient transfer of power to the rear wheels.

As to vibrations, it is my understanding both shafts operate smoothly. Hope this helps. Red

I have BMR shaft, half shafts, and bmr axel stubs. they make quality parts. the drive shaft has no vibration and they use cryogenically frozen yokes......they will outlast the shaft. my .02cents

Their driveshafts have ALL been great for me with NO issues.
As for BMRS I'm sure it is a great piece also their quality has also been very good in my opinion.
I would say if your that worried about cutting off a 1/4" of the nipple than get the BMR.
I just wouldn't spend the extra money on there shaft due to the fact I'll NEVER be re installing the stock 2 piece junk.......even if I sell it.
Sorry I didn't get back to you I'm on vacation back east right now.
    Just got back from CedarPoint.
Either piece will be a good upgrade.

I thought that you would have to cut the nipple to get either one of them on? I just want one that will have no vibration issues at high speed also, I'd like to make 150+ runs everynow and then......Some where in Mexico of course...
