Have you tried to rapid it pres it? (anotherwards hit the button twice really fast)

Hi Crash. First,change your user name LOL. Second-is your personal setting set for 1 push for one or for both door locks? There is a choice.
Press mode-scroll down to 18th item=two stage unlock. If it does'nt work in that setting, take it to dealer fo warranty fix.
If you have an owners manual,-go to pg.2-35

I have it set to one button. The dealer tells me that they will have to take the doors off and it will cost 800 dollars to check it. I just wanted to see if anybody else had any sort of module/relay problems.

yes, I have the manual. I know how to set it to one button. The passenger will not work with the remote. The driver side does. I have the lock indicators set off with the computer, but with the passenger door not locking. The horn still goes off when I press lock. But if I manually lock the passenger door, then press lock on the remote to lock the driver door. The indicators don't go off, just the lights flash like they are supposed to.

I am just trying to help you out on this problem crash, especially when the stealership told you $800.00.
When you say, "I know how to set it to one button', Do you mean One push of the button for both locks? And, if that is the case, this problem should be covered under warranty--unless of course you have over 36,000 miles on it --then you are screwed with the exception of accepting only driver's unlocking and then-you pulling up the passenger 's lock.
Just one more possibility and this is really out there-unhook your battery,wait a couple of min.s and re-hook then try again.

It's not under warranty, I bought it used with 45k miles for 15000.

just waiting on this one. Don't really need to get it fixed right away and I don't feel like getting it broke off in me by the dealers.

My rh door lock wouldn't work either and it turned out to be a bad lock actuator.

im having that problem with driver door i hear it moving but dont lock or un lock think mine is the linkage came undone or something though

I cant just open both doors from one spot .. If I walk around the car and then try the passenger door opens just fine , or if I open from inside the car it works ... Just food for thought

If I hold down the unlock button on my remote both doors will unlock. Just my 2 cents worth

I had this same issue....it's the actuator. I had mine fixed under warranty but a pretty common issue on the 04's at least.
