DMS is in...
since sarge and qwkgto whored up my other thread I'll start a new one.
I'll be doing a complete install write up with pictures soon. I want to get 1 or 2 more pics of it installed with the fuel rail covers back on and what not. We also ended up adjusting it a little bit from this picture as it was to high and wouldn't let the hood close. Looks sharp but for the money and time involved I'm not sure if they gains would be there to justify the money. I look at it as it's an appearance mod as much as a performance mod. I still need to log it during the day so the comparison to the before log will be similar. We logged it after dark and there was a 21 degree difference in IAT's but some of that is outside temp related so I want to get a day when the outside temps are as close as possible. I will say that we idled the car for a while so everything was nice and heat soaked but when we started driving it the iat's fell extremely fast so it's definitely getting a shot of cool air to those filters now. I want to look at the rate the temps fell compared to the stock set up because there's no way the stock box would drop temps as fast as this drops. Anyhow, here's a somewhat finished picture.

I didn't want to pimp a non-sponsor by providing a link. I would've pm'd it to you though.
This kit seriously needs some instructions with it. It's not hard to do by any means but I could see some people getting use out of some direction. It was designed to run mafless so when you keep the maf on there you have to create some room for it.Last edited by 0rion; 09-28-2008 at 05:00 AM.
