    Diablo Tune for 04 GTO

    I know that everyone pushes getting a custom tune, but I unfortunatlly bought the Diablo tuner 4 years ago and am stuck with it. Has anyone actually found any gains on an 04-A4 with mostly stock motor (cat back, CIA)? What settings are you running? I know of the NASCAR tune, but did not have any luck running it. It seemed to actually 'loose' power, especially during 1-2 shifts (would not squack the tires).

    Qucik Silver Metalic
    2004 GTO - M6

    My set up with a dyno tune
    WOT
    2 - 4,000 RPM = -3%
    4 - 6,000 RPM = -3%

    Spark Advance
    2 - 4,000 RPM = +9%
    4 - 6,000 RPM = +9%

    Injector Slope = -10%

    M6 = trans settings

    Create an A/F ratio of 12.5 to 1

    Remember, every vehicle is a bit different

    Heres a good link to tunning with the predator.

    If your model of the predator has data logging it is rather easy. Literally all you have to do is apply the tune from the predator(I have the slp version so I did the slp 421 tune)then log your cars info, d/l the logged info into your pc(you will need the pc interface to do so) then put that info in to the program. This link saved me a bunch of headaches of try to tune it myself 06montess(hes on a lot of different lsx forums) is the man to ask if you have any questions about tuning with the predator.
